Mostly working in "green wood" cracks and bends are part of the art and the process. Sometimes the sculptures will change after being finished forming cracks or warping in shape. This adds to the uniqueness of each piece and creates a "life" within each sculpture envisioning my philosophy of working in collaboration with the wood when creating art - we call the shots together embracing the natural movement and contours within the wood.
On occation I will try and mend the cracks if I feel they interfere with my vision for the individual piece. Also if the wood has rot or decay it can be a nessesity - ex. my piece "Mending a broken heart".
I am opening up for commissions and sales directly here from here. If you have any interest in buying one of my pieces or commissioning a unique piece from me please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail.
You can view more of my wooden braincrafts here.

"Our curation of European artists to follow"
I am so glad and honoured, that the curators see me as an artist to follow🥰
I am a self-taught artist who primarily works in wood sculpture, occasionally incorporating stone and metal, drawing deeply from personal transformation after a life-altering stroke. My intuitive technique embraces slow, attentive carving, allowing the intrinsic character of each piece of wood to guide both motif and process, resulting in both abstract and nature-inspired works. Through my art, I channel a journey of healing and mental health, awakening profound empathy and celebrating the hidden beauty within materials—and within ourselves.
