This was a very productive, exciting and just overall great 3 days! I had both a TV reporter stop by which ended up both online and on national TV (TV2).

This was very exciting for me - getting to advocate both my story with a brain injury and as an early pensioner.
The carving at Skandinavisk Dyrepark was as always an immense joy with lots and lots of people stopping by - wanting to talk, admire, touch the sculpures or just look at what was going on.
Wow what a concept I have stumbled upon here with Skandinavisk Dyrepark. I am so very grateful that they were in on the idea and hope to be able to work more with them in the future!
For now I will be looking forward to my 4th sculpture in september.
My first day started out a bit rough. I had to prune the oak I was carving and that turned into a bit of an issue. It ended up taking a couple of hours until I could get into carving. But as soon as I got going things moved fast. I was almost done with the Lynx after the first day. That meant more sculptures in the same theme (which I had saved wood for) so a snowy owl with a hare in its claws was what the tree told me. Those two sculptures took the remainder of my 3-day stint (along with interviews, talking and a visit from my family🥰).
The end result is in my eyes one of my best. At least in my eyes 🤩. And I am most satisfied with the owl, which was not even the main motiff when I started. But the way it ended up, it is my favourite!
