The sculpture is made from a tree that fell in a storm a while back. I believe the species of wood is "common alder". The fact that it was a storm felled tree is quite important for me. It did pose a few issues with rot in the trunk, but the challenge of working around that is also funðŸ¤

About 30 hours over three days @Skandinavisk Dyrepark turned into these 3 wolves. I hit a few snags along the way (rot several key places 🤔) but managed to work my way around and end up with a sculpture I am very satisfied withðŸ¤
A lot (!) of people came by for a talk about the sculpture and my #BrainCrafts story, which just makes doing this so much more worth it. Sharing my store and inspiring people (from all over the world) with what I can do after a brain injury warms my heart.
