Polar bear

3 days of carving and finding my way through this huge log. It is an old trunk that has been lying in the weather for more than 10 years so it had a bit of rot and a hollow centre. That meant a bit of compromise, but I am very happy with the way it turned out.

It is also a bit of a chair. That came to be because all of my other sculptures always has children climbing on them. So I decided to give this sculpture a feature to sit on and maybe (hopefully) turn it into a place for photos and climbing🤩
